A man walked out of the main door to the abandoned apartment buildings. "Should I lock up for tonight?" Libarid laughed to himself as he eyed up the run down place.
"I doubt I'll miss anything if it goes missing." He walked out onto the quiet street, crossed, then went to the corner of the street and waited. He looked at his wrist watch, which read 12:03 AM.
"He should be here soon..."
Libarid waited about five minutes, then leaned against the building, and sat down on the concrete sidewalk, and looked around.

Zatta stepped from and alley near the building, and approached the young man. "Yes, my chosen?" he questioned, "What have you called me here for tonight?" Zatta smiled warmly as he waited for a response

Libarid looked up at the man, and then said, "That's exactly it. Why am I a Chosen? Just because Armayis seems to have some sort of liking to you, doesn't necesarily mean that I do." He watched Zatta's face to see if he might have angered him in any way, thinking of an apology quickly.

Zatta sighed. He knew this would happen eventually. "To be honest, you're not one of my actual chosen, you're just the person I chose to be the General of our troops..."

Libarid paused for a minute. He had always heard of a few of these gods choose people with certain afinities to carry out special duties for them. So when Zatta told him that he was a chosen, he just assumed that's what he meant.
"...A general of The Elemtnal Balance's forces..." Libarid said to Zatta. He only wanted to rid the world of demons, not command divine beings. He thought about it for a few minutes, then his face brightened a bit. "Alright, I'll be your general," he said. "But I'm going to be using the army some of the time for some of my own goals."

"Yes, yes, ridding the world of demons, and all that," he said with a laugh, "very well, just inform me ahead of time, and I'd be more than willing to let you go. However, I will not permit the use of my army against kind demons of any sort."

Libarid laughed quietly, then said, "Kind demons? I guess you know more than I would since you're a god, but I have yet to meet a 'kind demon.' " He turned around, and then started walking off. He stopped after a few steps, then, without turning aorund, asked, "What exactly do you mean by 'kind demons?' Are there really ones that want to do good?"

"What do you think Armayis is," said Zatta with a smile, "he's a demon. And your abilities, by nature, are of demon-human hybrid origins, though I do not recall you BEING a hybrid." Zatta sighed. Some people were so zealous. "The majority of our forces are at least part demon, or house one."

Libarid thought for a moment. "...Looks like I've gotta have a little chat with Armayis, then... Thank you." He walked down the street into the night. His mind started to whirl a bit as he made his way down the side walk.
