Once a long time ago, there was a man named Eliseo. He was a great storyteller. But sometimes his stories got out of control. Supposedly murdered, his newest story about a Battle between Used-to-be-Friends, was unfinished. The story locked away A Goddess, A Giant Raven, and their armies in eternal battle.
Sick of being locked up the Raven escaped, but had to leave his army behind. He took their powers with him in selfish greed. The Goddess followed. The Raven had grown so strong after absorbing his army's powers, the goddess was only able to seal her away, in the process giving up her own powers and being set in stone.
As it turns out, Eliseo is not as dead as he is thought to be. Sad that his story grew so out of control, Eliseo visited the Goddesses statue every day, talking to her even though he though she could not hear him. Seeing the pain on the Goddesses face one day, Eliseo begged the Council of Elders to give the woman's life back.
The Council thought and discussed it, then told the storyteller: "We cannot give the Goddess Ameratsu her life and powers fully back, or else the Raven will be freed. But we can give her powers to six girls. And we'll give some of our powers to some other. Ameratsu will only be able to speak in the Dreams of these people and with come back to life on the Nights of the Full Moon."
Eliseo was overjoyed and thanked the Elders over and over again, then rushed off to tell Ameratsu who smiled even in her stony state. Every full moon Eliseo and Ameratsu, along with some of the council members built a town surrounding Ameratsu's shrine.
Years later, the Ghost Town became more of a Suburbia, the Goddess and the storyteller watched every girl who came into Tiger Creek before choosing the ones. Each girl received a Crescent Shaped Moon pendant with stars engrave on the side. On the tip of the bottom half of the moon there is a Gem for each element. Sapphire for Wind. Emerald for Earth. Diamond for Light. Onyx for Darkness. Ruby for Fire. Turquoise for Water. The gems glow in warning for when an Order member is near, and glow different colors for other things as well.
The Giant Raven has freed himself on the Night of the New Moon. He cannot do anything except on that night. His name is Aella, the only way to tell if someone is one of his Army is by the Black Raven feather on their body and by their crimson red eyes. The color of Blood. Aella still has the powers of his former army, but now she is distributing it through the Teenagers he is recruiting,
The story goes far deeper than anyone could ever have imagined, though. For, you see, it happened. Every detail, every moment, was a reality.
Long ago, the Goddess and the Raven really had started to fight when Eliseo created his story, and have been ever since. However, they were trapped within the story, but they weren't without memory. The Goddess had a lover. In fact, she had three people who loved her.
One was another god, by the name of Zatta Doubutsu. He was the god of elemental balance. When the goddess and the raven were created, he marked several chosen bloodlines, each with one element, and entered a sleep, only to be awoken once his love had returned to this world. He was once she escaped, but he was sent back to sleep when she turned herself to stone.
Another chose to bury himself within a bloodline, cursing every male of that bloodline to eventually transform into him. This way, he could transcend time, and prepare for his love's return.
The final, and most ironic of her admirers, was the Raven himself. He couldn't stand the thought of anyone else having her. When he learned of the other admirers, he turned on the Goddess, forever damning her, and choosing to hate her rather than love her. The Goddess, though, could not choose. She had felt something for them all, and she could not choose just one.
It broke her heart to fight the Raven, but what must be done must be done. And once the story began to become passed through spoken word, the Raven, a hateful monster, escaped, and the Goddess, a sorrowed relic, followed.
A new story has begun. Will the Goddess and her Chosen ones be Victorious? Or will Aella and his Army destroy them? And who are the ones the Council of Elders chose? Eliseo is letting this story continue of it one accord. How will it end? Will it ever?
